Dr. Cuevas Offers Straight Teeth Without All The Metal

What Exactly Is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment provides patients with a series of clear aligners to be switched out approximately every two weeks. Based on Dr. Cuevas’ calculations, these aligners are individually manufactured to your specific needs so that your teeth may gradually shift your teeth into place, creating a flawless smile that truly fits your personality and facial features.

Invisalign can help with:

  • Crowded Teeth—when your jaw simply can’t fit all of your teeth in normally.
  • Widely Spaced Teeth—this can be caused  by abnormal continued growth of the jaw bone or by other teeth shifting to fill extra space.
  • Underbite—when your lower teeth protrude past your front teeth. This is usually caused by overgrowth of the lower jaw, undergrowth of the upper jaw, or both. It can also be caused by missing upper teeth.
  • Crossbite—when the lower and upper jaws are misaligned.
  • Overbite—when upper teeth bite too far over the lower teeth, typically caused by genetics, bad oral habits, or over development of the bone that supports the teeth.

Invisalign is not always the best solution for everyone, but for some people it is a great tool for accomplishing a gorgeous smile. There are many factors that our experienced team must evaluate in order to decide if it’s the right solution for you, including the position of your back teeth, your bite, whether or not your new smile will need vertical movement, and whether or not your canine teeth and premolars need rotation. This is why it is important to spend a few minutes in consultation with us. We’d love to visit with you.

If you have been considering Invisalign, make an appointment today to visit with Dr. Cuevas about it.

Or, feel free to pass along the good news to a friend, family member, or coworker who would appreciate knowing about Invisalign.

As always, THANK YOU for being a valued patient and friend.
